Been a while since I’ve posted anything here as I’ve been heaps busy with the new job plus preparing for my VCDX and I’ve recently been approached to author a vCOPS book which I think could be pretty cool and a great personal development opportunity for myself.
It was actually while coming up with the outline for the book I was thinking how can I make it interesting not having the same bland reading ive endured over the years. So I was thinking of ways to mess around and came up with a solution of how to show off features in a fun way.
What better blend then to mix vCOPS dashboard metrics and TV in the one thing, kill 2 birds with 1 stone watch over the environment and catch up on my backlog of TV 🙂
Or if you dont want to be subtle about it just do this
Mix some Archer, web browsing, learn how to cook up a storm, watch the sport, and see what mates are doing on twitch while still keeping an eye on the environment.
This has been done before, its just using the text widget in vCOPS and pointing it at a web page or source. Im a big fan of plex so I can watch my home library remotely, there is no reason netflix or other internet streaming type site wouldn’t work.
